JUNE (MEDAL, MATCH. On Saturday next tlie June medal match will be held on t'he local links. Unless otherwise notified in Friday's "Shannon News," ■ players will find •their own partners. Men will play IS. holes, ladies 12, It is hoped that as many members as possible .will take part in this match ; -and. that more ladder matches will be played. • On Saturday fast a Shannon team conststing of 12. men and five ladies, spent a most enjoyable afternoon's sport on the Levin course. The (home team was victorious; and like true sports treated the visitors to/delicious afternoon tea. The Shannon players' always have a pleasant time at Levin and no dotubt many have improved in play in consequence of being pitted, against better golfers.
