VENERABLE BEDE'S CHURCH.

~ ♦ MELTING OF PARISHIONERS. The annual meeting of Parish ioners of the Anglican Church was held in the Parish Hall ou Friday evening Rev. Mr Farnefl presiding. The report, and balance sheet was read and showed the finances of the church to be in a. most satisfactory condition, the report also stating the loan on lUe Vicarage huid been paid-off. The" following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Vicar's Warden, Mr R. Waring-Tavlor; parishioners warden Mr E. Butt; vestryman, Messrs T. Drake H. C. Ens ton, 1. Bowler, T. Gardner ' XV. IT. Gunning, A. H. Morgan, G. 'E. Murphy, and E. Spencer; auditor, Mr J. T. Rovis. It. was recommended that a. working bee formed to put the church grounds to put the church grounds in Oder. On the motion of Mr Waking-Taylor, , seconded bv Mr E. Butt, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the churchworkers for the help rendered by them.
