A farmer, Mr William James Eveleigh, aged 50, one of the best known residents at Otorohahga, was tailed this morning by a dehorned Jersey bull. The hull was afterwards shot. : Mrs Eveleigh, wife of deceased, was a witness of toe 'latter part of toe tragedy, but her attempt, to rush to her husband’s assistance was prevented by her 12-year-old son. An inquest was held this afternoon.
