RUGBY FOOTBALL.
MEETING OF REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. The-annual general meeting of the Horowhenua Rugby Referees' Association was held on Friday evening. There was a large attendance of members. The report and balance sheet were read and confirmed. The balance sheet showed a credit of £2 5s 8d and it was considered highly satisfactory. Several new members were elected. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr J. J. O'Connor (re-elected); vice-pre-sidents, Messrs J. Rose and T. Parata (re-elected)-; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr R. A. • Sloan (re-elected); management, Messrs Rose, Seymour, B'evan; examination officer, Mr H. Karauti (re-elected); vice-president N.Z.R.R.A., Mr H. Karauti (re-elect-ed); delegate N.Z.R.R.A., Mr 'A. McBnin (re-elected); appointment committee Mr R. A. Sloan with power to add. ' , The secretary was voted a bonus oi £2 2s in*recognition of his past ser-. vices to the Association.
