Association, a letterwas received from the Wellington Carnival and Advertising Association stating that they were anaaous to hav,e the support and advice of people connected with the primary industries and existing) shows of the Province. They stated that the Wairarapa A. and P. Association was in whlole-heaijted. sympathy with the - moMement to hold a show in Wellington and was supporting it, nominating six representatives to the commit- , tee. They asked the Levin Association to appoint a like number. The chairman, Mr G. H. Kingdon, stated that the secretary of th© Wellington Winter Show (had been present at the Levin fixture and had asked him for support for the event. He had introduced him to several of the members but he could not say that liis suggestions were very s&tisfac- ' torily received. The Wellington Association did not desire financial assistance, but merely that, they should send delegates. He considered that Palmerston Nortlh, was the Show which should be supported locally. It was an old-established show and belonged to thie district. The fact that the Wairarapa, supported Wellington was no treason fwhjy Horowhenua should, but if any members liked to hand in their names they were welcome to do so. The letter was received.
