A GOOD SALE. The monthly stock sale held at Shannon yesterday was the best held for some considerable tins©. Ihere was a good attendance of buyers and bidding was spirited. Over 1000 sheep were yarded (and sold well, prices showing an advance on previous sales: especially for lambs. A nice Den of fat bullocks reached full market value at' £Bl Following are the prices received :—Sheep : 100 iat wethers 29s 4d, svr ewes 22s 4d, 172 lambs off the hills'in the wool- 16s sd, culis 6s 2d to 8s 2d, ramp 265, lambs off Ulie hills 10s 0d to 16s sd, mixed sex 2tooths 19s fat 2-tooths mixed sexes •2Ss 3d nice pen of 22 lambs in wool ■LSs 6d'. Pigs: Store 15s, large stores 23s 6d. Cattle : Fat cows £4 9s to £u 7s fat bullocks £8; forward cows £2 16s to £3 ss, store cows £1 to 37s 6d; 7 heifers r.w.b. £2 10s, yearling heiiers 20s.
