A GOOD SALE. The monthly stock sale held at Shannon yesterday was the best held for some considerable tins©. Ihere was a good attendance of buyers and bidding was spirited. Over 1000 sheep were yarded (and sold well, prices showing an advance on previous sales: especially for lambs. Pigs: Store 15s, large stores 23s 6d. Cattle : Fat cows £4 9s to £u 7s fat bullocks £8; forward cows £2 16s to £3 ss, store cows £1 to 37s 6d; 7 heifers r.w.b. £2 10s, yearling heiiers 20s.
