No. 2 Dipper Dredge.—This dredge has completed the whole length of ,wew drainage channel to Akers Bros.' main drain, and is at the present time cutting its way past eastern end of bridge over Tokomaru stream at Wall's. The centre lines of stopbank on both banks of Tokomaru stream have been flagged up to Campbell's Drain. It is imperative" that clearing be kept well ahead of dredges to onable new lines to be levelled, and further flagging- cannot be done above Campbell's drain until line is cleared on account of excessive growth. Kara Stream Bridge (main road) We have-submitted plans and specifications ■ (2). of the above bridge to the Horowhenua CC. and they have approved of same and sent copies on to Public Works Department.
