"Second Hand Love," the Charles Jones production released by William Fox and being presented at the Maoriland Theatre on Saturday evening, was thought Jones' :best effort by a New York reviewer. A wife deserts her husband because of his evil character, 'runs against a wealthy miser who covets her, and finally remaxries, forms the basis of the story which was pronounced . strong! for dramatic, romantic and humorous appeal. "RAILROADED' '—MONDAY The sternness and uncompromising attitude of Judge Garbin, one of England's most noted judges, toward all things outside the law result in making his own son a criminal. His son has disappeared and the judge believes him dead, until he sees his picture as an escaped convict. Exciting events follow in a story that is intensely human and dramatically interesting. It can he left to the film to unfold the details at the Maoriland Theatre on Monday.
