HOROWHENUA SHOW.
ENTRIES CLOSE ON SATURDAY
Intending competitors at the Horowhenua A. and P. Show to be held at Levin, on 30th and 31st of January, are l reminded that the closing date for general entries is Saturday next, the 19th inst. The programme of events comprises some very interesting ring competitions, ~ tihe two' chief jumping events carrying prize money to the value of £25 each. There are also numerous" other competitions, also sheep dog trial. The usual classes for cattle, sheep, and pigte are 'all well ca.tened for in the way of prize money and should attract good competition. There Avill he the usual side attractions for both young and old. Judging from the numerous applications received for schedules this year entries promise to be Aveli up with previous ones, and favoured Avith fine Weathei', patrons can weily on getting good value for their money. All particulars can be obtained from Mr R. D. Wallace, secretary, Levin.
