MRS WALTER BULL

(From the Levin Chronicle)

Very deep sorrow was occasioned in Levin yesterday AVhen it became known .that Mr s Bull, wife of Mr Walter Bull, had died with tragic suddenness in Wellington. Mrs Bull, accompanied by her husband,, Avient to Wellington yesterday morning for the purpose of consulting, a, specialist as to Avhether a further operation was

necessary. . Shortly alter reaching the surgery, 'the deceased lady became seriously ill and passed away. Mrs Bull had been in bad health for a considerable <ttme, but it was iiot anticipated that a fatal termination was so imminent. The deceased was the youngest daughter of the late Mr Thomas Be van, of iMianakau, where she was. born forty-two years ago. Since heir marriage she had been a resident of Levin and both here and along the coast, she made a host of friends, to whom her early death will cause the profoundest sotrow. Though a grievous sufferer from ill-Uealtih. thie late Mrs Bull contrived to assist on many local committees and movements and always to maintain her natural Cheerfulness of disposition and kindliness of heart. She leaves with those who knew her the memory of quiet courage and though.tfulne.ss lor others. To

those w.ho mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother the heartfelt sympathy of the whole community will be extended in the hope that in some small degree it may assuage their grief. - Besides her (husband, Mr Walter Bull, who is widely known in business circles and as Secretary of the Levin Racing Club, the deceased lady leaves a son and daughter. Mrs K. L. Phillips, of Levin, and Mr.s C. Nees, of Manakau, are sisters, and Messrs T. and R. Bevaii, of Levin, and Wm., Robt., and G. Bevall of Mimakau are brothers.
