AN APPEAL.
(To the Editor.) Sir—On Friday, January 11th, a daaice is being held in the Druids,, Ha JI for the benefit of Mr Jack Turoa and preparations are being made to ensure an enjoyable evening for all. Mr Turoa has always given of his time 'and money and worked hard lor and at the' time of his accident was working hard for the Queen Camivial, and now When he needs assistance it is up to us to do something? for him. He has been a long time in the hospital and will be many weeks before he is able, to work again. I therelore ask vour many reatlers to assist bv buying a ticket for this danoe and help .lack and his. wife and children to have a start for the New Year. The hall, music, and supper are being given free for which the committee arc ithiaiiklul. All' we ask is the public support. Will those who cannot come buy a. ticket?—l am, etc, A. E. HYDE.
