Miss Janet is/tokes and Mr -Parr, senr., were the winners of thei firstprizes, and flVliss Wagiliorn and Mr L. Kowlands won the consolation prizes. The music of Mr and Mr® llamage contributed considerably to the enjoyment of the evening, wliich was brought to a close, aftey-"slipper and a. dance. The health of Mrs A. Macliardie is causing bier lieiatives and friends great anxiety. Mrs A. M. Kelly lias returned home after spending sonic weeks, hi Wellington. , Tbe Druids gave their annual entertainment on . Wednesday night, the main feature being a Christmas tree for the. children.: A yery pleasant evening was spent by all, and Santa Glaus satisfied the requirements of the little ones. Mis S. J.
