THE LADDER SUPERSTITION.

The role of the cashier is assumed by i.Tully Marshall. The cashier is anxious to have his nephew, Richard Twing, succeed him. The Board of Directors elect Barnes, the hero, <a role assum- ' ed 'by Edlward Hoirton. The bank . president's daughter played by Margaret Laridis is in lovei with B'arnes. Thje girl is superstitiousv and when . she learns that Bairnes has walked under a ladder, she refuses to have more to do with him until he 'kills the'jinx by walking under H again. In -attempting to pleasie his swe|etheart Barries giets into all sorts of , trouble. From .tthis point the action movies swiftly and fun is fast and . furious.
