Rhubarb is coming freely and prices are lower. Eggs firm. , Current prices as follows: —Cabbage 7s to 10s lid per case, 9s to 20s 6d per sack; cauliflower 20s to 32s 6d per sack; carrots 25s to 35s per sack; parsnips 27s to 32s full sacks; swedes 14s to 15s 6d per cwt; peas 3s 3d to 4s per peck; lettuce 6s to 14s 6d; spinach 10s to 14s per case; rhubarb 4s to 7s per dozen bunches; spring onions Is 6d to 2s’per bunch; white turnips Is 6d to 2s per bunch; gooseberries 7d to 9d per lb; new potatoes 2d per lb; apples, Delicious (best 10s to 12s, spot 6s to 8s; Sturmers (clean 6s to Bs, spot 4s to 6s; Rokewoods 3s 6d to 4s 6d; Rhymers 3s to 4s; Washingtons 6s to 8s; eggs Is 3d to Is 4d per dozen.
