ROBINSON—HAWKE

A quiet but pretty wedding,, only the, near relatives, of the contracting parties being present,, was celebrated in St. Mary’s Ghurch, Levin,- on Monday evening last when Miss Winifred Dulcie Hawke, youngest daughter Mr and Mrs A. Hawke 1 , of Levin, was married to’ Mr Roy ‘Herrington Robinson, eldest son of Mrs end the late James Henry Robinson, of Foxton'. The Rev. 1 J. C. Davies officiated. .

The bride, who was given away by her father,, was oharrningl attired in a .three-piece ’suit of grey morocain with grey hat shot with pink, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of pa.Je pink azaleas presented by Mrs William Davis, of Bath street, Levin. The bridesmaid, Miss E. Robinsoni, sister of the bridegroom, wore a frock i>f' White organdie with floral ■ trimmings. and hat to match. Mr Vernon Robinson, brotlier o? "the bridegroom was best man.

After the -ceremony a reception was held' at the residence of the bride’s parents, the! happy couple leaving rater for Foxton by motor. They will reside iat Heatherleai, and will ''have the best wishes of a large circle of friends for their future hapyiness.
