SHANNON Y. LEVIN

On Saturday a team consisting of twelve men and six ladies from the Shannon Club played a return match against Levin on the links, the home team being.the winners by a comfortable margin. The weather was dull and a shower which fell during the afternoon, whilst not interfering with play, did not improve conditions. During the afternoon, tea was dispensed by the lady members of the Club, special mention being deserved by Mesdam-es J. D. Brown. Bould. and Harkness, who worked indeg&tigably to make /this department a success. The results of the. match were as follow; ’ V LADIES' Mrs -Pringle won from Mrs Saxon. Mrs McKenzie won from Mrs E. Goodwin. Miss Marsh won from Mrs Johnson. M-r-s. Clark .won- from Mrs Hosking. Mrs K. EJ. Adams won from- Mrs Dinnie. Miss Beckett won from Mrs J. Goodwin. MEN'. W. Clark won from Saxon. K. Biss won from Morgan. P. Harper lost to Murphy. France tied with Seifert. Pringle won from Marshbanks. Mackenzie won from Anderson. Park won from Dinnie. K. E. Adams won' from Abbott. C. Bould lost to Dr. Macdonald. Scoon lost to Gagliardi. Hosie won-from, Johnstone. Suhan lost to King. /
