MAORI CONCERT.

THURSDAY NIGHT. ' The public are reminded that the grand Maori concert in .aid of the Soldiers’ Memorial takes place at the Maorilamd Theatre on, Thursday evening. The- performers have been practising hard for the concert for some time and during, the week-ehd held a full-dress rehearsal and "from -reports to hand, we have been assured they will leave nothing wanting to make the performance one'of the most enjoyable yet held in Shannon. There will be items by the Maori String Band, native singers of world repute' while comedy is well provided for. A feature of the evening will be the hakas and poi dances. The night’s entertainment is one that should not be missed.
