FAITH HEALING IN N.S.W.
REMARKABLE CASE.
A remarkable case of spiritual healing, not by Mr. Hickson, is reported from Baimedman, a little country town in outback New South Wales. The cure is said tollbe from the laying on of hands of Dr. Radford, Anglican Bishop of Goulburn. The Rev. J. D. Nicholson, rector of Barmedinan, was the patient. His sight had been steadily failing. A Sydney eye special i.;t informed him that there was a cataract on the left eye, and that the sight of the right eye was failing steadily. He held out no hope for the minister's sight. Mr. Nicholson asked Bishop Radford to give him the laying on of hands with prayer. A special service was held last week and three other clergy were present as intercessors. Meanwhile the people of Mr. Nicholson's parish of Barmedinan and of Wyalong had arranged to be interceding in their churches at the same time as the healing service.
Immediately after the ministration Mr. Nicholson was conscious of a lifting of the burden which had rested- on him, and on rising to' his feet he discovered that he could see with his hitherto blind eye.
Afterwards Mr. Nicholson assisted in the Sunday service and moved about Barmedman a much happier man.
“It was a wonderful and uplifting experience," said Bishop Radford.-
