VISITING TARANAKI REPS.
ARRIVED YESTERDAY
The Taranaki touring rep. team to the numtor of 25; who are 'tlo play Horowhenua on Wednesday, 22nd, arrived in Levin yesterday, ami will be quartered in the town until Thursday, the Mime being. occupied in training and general practise for the coming match, which promises to be one of the best of the season. The, Taranaki team is a strong one, with ■a, successful tour to its credit, and that the local representatives recognise that they will be hard put to it to come out of the match with credit, is evidenced by the fact that the team is also assembling on Monday, for a two-days' course of intensive training in preparation, for the contest. During the days before, the match the unique sight will he witnessed of two repriesenfatfive teams from different provinces training in one town, and will undoubtedly still further stimulate the wide interest) already taken in the match. Arrangements for the entertainment of the visitors are in hand, and include a visit to the Cent<ral Development Farm. As practically all the members of the team anei farmers, tliis will be of particular interest. The proprietors of the People's Picture Palace have also arranged that members of the team shall be the guest's of the house on a night during their stay in the town.
