ESTATE OF E. G. COAKLEY, SHANNON.

EuJlne George Coakley, labourer, of Shannon, has filed a petition in bankruptcy at the office of the D.O.A. (Mr. C. E. Dempsy). In his statement, bankrupt says that prior*to April 27, 1922, he was carrying on business as a refreshment-room proprietor at Shannon. This he carried on for 16 months, and though the business was not paying at first, it improved, and he could have pulled through if it had not been for a fire. On April 27, 1922, his premises were burned out, bankrupt %losing everything. He had no insurance. The people of Shannon assisted him after the fire, and he commenced a hawking business. He was burned out again on June 22, and again lost everything, being uninsured. Practically the whole of his debts were contracted before the first fire. He was a married man with a wife and four children, three of whom were still dependent on him. • He had no means and was unable to make any offer to his creditors. Bankrupt’s total debts are £lB2 7/-, and total assets £lO, from book debts. There are no secured creditors, and unsecured creditors are us follow: —■ McMillan (Levin) £3O, Barnao Bros. (P.N.) £24, B.
