HOOT, GIBSON ON SATURDAY. Hoot Gibson has just the kind of role that he has always wanted to play in “The Galloping Kid, ’ his last Universal starring vehicle at the local theatre. It is that of a tramp cowboy with an unusually interesting philosophy of life who gets by on his sharp wit» alone. He lands the pleasant job of chaperoning a cattleman s pretty daughter, portrayed by Edna Murphy, and finds that he lias been missing something for many, many yea “STEELHEART” ON MONDAY. The fight in the last reel of ‘‘Steelheart,’’ due on Monday, is a terrific encounter. In their search for the “Lost Valley of Gold” the leading characters come upon a hut and there they are attacked by desperadoes from the mining camp. The finish is tensely dramatic. In the course ol the story there are many startling feats, a fight with a hear, the rescue of a horse from' ai flooded river, the wreck of a. “prairie schooner” the dive from a tall cliff, and many others too numerous to mention. The explosion which brings a whole hillside down is also a real spectacle.
