GRAND ENTERTAINMENT.
TO NIGHT. .’t the Maoriland Theatre this evening the grand •.ntertainment in aid of funds for putting down new courts for the Tennis Club will take place. The object is a most worthy one and deserving of public support, besides being an acquisition to the town. The programme to be submitted is a varied one, embracing vocal, instrumental and comedy and some of the best talent available has been procured. At the interval the art union will be drawn, also the result of the knitted juniper and word building competition will be made known.
