SHANNON STOCK SALE

The monthly sale was held at the Shannon yards yesterday, there beiug a fair attendance of buyers. A good yarding of cattle came forward, there being a good demand for anything showing quality. Fat cattle met with keen competition. Only a few sheep entries came forward. Following are the prieflp obtained:— Sheep.—Fat ewes 22/7, cull ewes 10/-. Cattle.—Wearier heifers 19/-, 25/-, 29/to £2 Is, springing spring calvers £5 ss, prime lat cows £5 hi to £6, fat cows £3, £4 5s to £4 16s, empty cows 24s to 325, cull cows 17/6, bulls (heavy) 37/6 to £2, fat bullocks (light) £6 Is: -
