SHANNON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
A'meeting of business men and farmers will 1 o held in the Maoriland Theatre to-morrow afternoon ait 2 p.m., lor the purpose of forming a Chamber of Commerce in Shannon. A meeting was held on the Bth inst, when it was unanimously agreed a Chamber should be formed in Shannon and a committee was set up *o draft by-laws and obtain full information respecting same, which will be submitted at this meeting. It is hoped the meeting will be fully representative and a sound strong body formed, which will be for the good of the country as a whole and this district in particular.
