The Timaru Boxing Association held a tournament to-night, when four matches were arranged, in which t’he competitors were all champions . in their respective classes. Results: Griffiths (Otago) Dominion flyweight champion,' defeated Ennes. the. South Canterbury champion. Worthington (Timaru), South Island bantam champion, beat Black (Christchurch). McKenna (Timaru) beat McCormick (Ashburton) the Dominion heavyweight champion A 15-round bout for the light-heavy professional championship went t’he ful distance, and resulted in Parker (Timaru) gaining the verdict on points over Brian McCleary (Christchurch) th e holder.
