The New Zealand Olympic Council wrote inviting the Council to nominate delegates to attend a meeting to be held in the middle of May. The Olympic Council was working in con. junction with the Dominion Advisory Council in London, with a view to sending representatives to compete at. the Empire and Olympic games, and to launch a scheme whereby sufficient funds could be raised to finance the despatch of at. least 50 athletes to represent the Dominion. Therefore it would be essential, that/ the. whole amateur sports bodies of the Dominion should co.operate and assist in furthering the project. Delegates were appointed.
