Trie monthly stock sale was held at Shannon yesterday when there was a good yarding of cattle, but only one small pen of sheep came . forward. There was a good attention of buyers but competition was mot too keen. Following prices were obtained;— Sheep: Cull ewes 10/-. Cattle ; Weaner heifers 16/- to 27/- fat cows £3 Is to £3 2s 6d, store cows 16/- to 34/, empty heifers £2 16s, heifers in calf £3 7e 6d, bulls 31/- to £2 10s, dairy heifers just calved £6 5s to £7. Pigs-. Stores 25s to 28s 6d.
