UNRULY HIGH SCHOOL PUPILS.
RAILWAY OFFICIALS PROBLEM. Some time ago serious complaints were made as to the conduct of scholars journeying to and from the Palmerston High School by rail. There has lately been further cause for censure, both from people travelling and the guards in charge of the trains. We are informed these young people have been cautioned on many occasions, and several have already had to pay for damage done. In one case a boy’s ticket was impounded, but these warnings have had no effect. On Monday evening’s train some of the boys while skylarking broke a window, the result being that on Tuesday morning the police were called in, and the offenders were severely reprimanded, and they were informed that if there was any more horseplay they would be made an example of. It i& to be hoped these unruly scholars will take heed -of the warnings given. The boys and girls are "how allotted separate carriages.
