i tic bedroom out on to the porch of ! Aunt Polly's big house, where it is cool enough for her to sleep. As she goes across the porch the shadow ! of her pyjama-clad figure i& cast upon file blind of Aunt Polly’s window, and Aunt Polly, seeing It, thinks a man l is on the roof. To get the most effective shadow it was necessary to buy a special Jamp, one much more powerful than any used in connection with the studio. When the new Lamp arrived it looked like the searchlight, lor a battleship. It was ten feet high, with a tripod base which spread lour feet—and it cost 1000 dollars.
