FATAL FALL FROM TRAIN.

CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night,

The woman who fell from the train in the Lyttelton tunnel was identified by a brother belonging to Woodbury as Amy E. Fifield, a school teacher, of Lismore, aged 50 and single. KILLED BY A PIG. WANGANUI, Last Night. A distressing affair happened on Bignall’s farm at Wangaehu this morn ing. A farm hand named Charles de la Haye was driving- two pigs, when one turned and attacked him with its tusks, inflicting severe injuries above the left knee. Tlie arteries were severed, and the boy lost a great deal of blood before being brought to the Wanganui Hospital. In spite of all that could be done for him, he died from loss of blood and shock. The boy was aged 14.
