COUNCIL PUTS UP PRICE. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The question of the price for the .winter supplies of milk for the city Avas discussed at a meeting i»f the City Council this afternoon. Eventunally, after a discussion in committee, it av&s decided to raise the price to 7ld per quart for five winter months. The increase Avill take place on May 1. The present price is sid, Avliile last year an- all-round year price of .7d ' was charged. The new price Avill not be the heaviest charged for milk within recent years, as two years ago as much as Sd was paid during one of the win. fer months. It is proposed to revieAV the matter after a period of five months.
