LEVIN QUOTATIONS. At the Levin on Tuesday, a full yarding was offered,' and met with good competition at late rates. Fat sheep, of which there was a fair entry. .sold more freely than of late. There was a good yarding of cattle, including some good Hereford-Short-horn cross bullocks, which elicited lively bidding. Pigs reflected the recent increased price of bacon ( and sold at advanced rates. Prices'were as follows:—* Pigs.—Weaners' 12/6 tq 15/, . stores 20/ to 24/, porkers. £2 to. £2 16/, baconers £3 To/ to' £4‘, pedigree Berkshire no ars £3 3/ to £5 5/. : , Cattle.—Light fat bullocks £6 10/, fat cows £4 to £5 10/, forward bullocks £5 5/ to £6 10/ for good HerefordShorthorn cross; forward cows to £3 8/; 4-year bullocks £4 17/6 to £5 5/, 2-year steers 9/, 18-months steers £2 19/ to £4 for extra choice lot, springing heifers £5 2/6 to £9, heifers r.w.b. £3 15/, store cows £1 to £1 17/6, cows and calves £3 to £4, cows in milk £6 10/, potter bulls £2 10/- to £4. Sheep.—Fat wethers 27/8 to 32/6, fat lambs 24/6 to 28/, full-mouth ewes IS/6 to 22k cull ewes 7/6, wether lambs (good) 17/6, woolly lambs m.s. 16/, shorn m.s. 15/6, cull lambs 10/.
