(Received Thursday, 7.20 p.m.) LONDON, March 1The Banffshire, bound for Sycmeyv encountered a terrific hurricane m the Bristol Channel. During the heig of the storm, a fire broke out the Rme hold, where the cargo mcluded 30 tons of dynamite. The fire was extinguish, ed, the ship docking at Avonraouth. The American liner, p r es \ d ® thur, arrived at Plymouth 18 late, owing to having to heave to in an Atlantic gale, in which the wind at tained a velocity of *2O miles anhou u The weather caused a remarkable change in the beach (Dorset). Fishermen were able to ex. amine for the first time 'for half a cen tZ the remains of the filing vessel Royal Adelaide, which was wrecked in 1872. Much gold is m the many sovereigns and Spanish co , dated 1871, were recently recoverd.
