BOWLING.
On Wednesday afternoon a rink consisting of Messrs. Shannon, Murray, Roach and McKegg (skip) visited Palmerston North and took part in the gala day held by that centre. They were successful in their game, defeating a rink skipped by Mr Morsliead by 28 to 15. T,hey report having had a most, enjoyable day. The third round for the Triangular Shield takes place at Levin on February 28.
A gala day is to be held at Levin to-morrow afternoon. The local chib has been invited to send two rinks.
