PROHIBITION RALLY.
At the Maoriland " Theatre on Tuesday evening a larg e audience was present to hear ti address by the Rev. Robert Hadd' on on behalf of the Maori race. Re' y. Minifie presided and introduced / the speaker prior to the commences ien t 0 f the address. Rev. Papakura' ( who is accompanying Mr Haddon o 7 A ms tour of the Dominion, sang “A‘ nn i e Laurie,” and a song in Maori co 7 mposed by one of the boys going to. flue front, Avhich was much appreciated, and at the conclusion he again delighted his audience by singing “Shipmate! o’ Mine,” and “Over tbei Hill.” Miss Mona Neale played his accon'ipaniments, for Avhich she received a i vote of thanks. A collection. Avas taken up to defray expenses.
