MR LINKLATER IN MANAWATU.

Reports from both Moutoa and Bainesse are to hand of meetings held .at tholse places by Mr Linklater, the Reform candidate. In each case large audiences were present, and the candidate was very warmly received and listened to attentively throughout. He ably defended the Government against many of the charges which are being levelled by opponents, and pointed out the necessity of a sane, steady Government being in office to guide the country along its paths. His own views for the future welfare of the country were heartily applauded, and at both meetings unanimous votes of thanks and of confidence were carried.
