GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY GRANTED

Advice has been received in Shannon that the Government have now decided to grant 1 the subsidy towards providing a medical man for the men, women and children living at the Mangahao hydro works. This will be good news to those concerned, a® it would have been a serious matter for such a large number of persons to have been without medical aid so far away from town.
