SHANNON'S MEAT SUPPLY.
In order that there he no misunderstanding, we wish to- inform residents ol Shannon that The Mangahao Butchery Co. is a limited company, carrying on, and intending to keep carrying on,, a Butchering Business in Shannon. The Company has purchased Mr S : . W. Carter’s property, “Marinoto,” for use in connection with the business. Mr S. W. Carter of Shannon, is not pecuniarily interested in any branch of the business. The local Builder does our carpentering. The local Plumber does our plumbing. The local Painter does our painting. The local Banker does our banking. The local Newspaper our advertising.
We supply absolutely the best meat that can be procured. We are perfecting our plant to handle it by most sanitary methods posstbl\ and are gratified 1 to find our efforts to supply quality recognised. All Cattle and Sheep slaughtered by thei Company are drafted by Mr Walter S. Carter, who can claim e to know that branch of the business thoroughly. The bullocks now being slaughtered were fattened on the Company’s own farm. The Wethers were bought from a Shannon grazier.
Shannon householders will appreciate the fact thait competition, even in Butchery, is the life, of trade. .Is your service worse since the Mangahao Company commenced businessP If not,, why? is it better? If so, why?
Our Company do not intend to employ unfair means to secure business. We Welcome competition. There is plenty of room for us all—by service and quality at fair prices. We shall leave the rest with the householders of Shannon.
Yours for quality and service. THE MANGAHAO BUTCHERY CO. E. Sothern, Manager
