TJhat is a statement issued by Mt Day, Prohibition Director, and reported in the “New York Tribune.” The State Druggists’ Association declares that bootleg liquors now on sale contain lysol, mercury, formaldehyde, carbolic acid, lead, copper, zinc and Wood alcohol.
'the association protests against the granting of druggists licenses to people who merely use them to camouflage sly-grog shops. In New Zealand, if we get- Prohibition, we shall surely have its corollaries—poisonous booze and drugs. Vote Continuance and a regulated liquor trade above ground. 14
