LORD’S PRAYER UNKNOWN. Mudgee (N.S.W.), Sept. 9. A clergyman recently visited a. school not far from Mudgee, and was shocked to learn that the scholars had never heard of the Lord’s Prayer. “Don’t you know that Prayer?” he asked. The scholars shook their heads. The clergyman made them repeat it, and instructed them to tell their parents what had happened dial, morning at school.

“1 can hardly credit their ignorance,” said the teacher. “1 never thought of asking them such a question.”
