SATURDAY AND MONDAY. , To-morrow's big feature is a fine ‘ Universal story, “The Wise Kid,” starring Gladys Walton and David | Butler. Rosie Cooper is a worldlywise, blase little cashier in a cheap restaurant. When a handsome young fellow with bearing and clothing that made him look like a fashion model did not have the money to pay for a big meal in the place, Hosie paid the bill herself, and let herself"ifi -for an * v amazing sequence of adventures and thrills that only* her sharp wit and courage conquered. Let the screen tell the story. On Monday the management will produce “An Old-fashioned Boy,” a

charming story with a strong heart appeal. David Warrington, who has old-fashioned ideas of love, marriage and home ,awkwardly proposes to his sweetheart, Betty Graves, a society girl, who is a bit of a snob. His proposal accepted, David announces that he has built and furnished a bungalow unknown to Betty, on the assumption. that- she would surely marry him. When everything in the garden looked lovely the trouble was really commencing, and the series of episodes that follow are- startling, but the finale brings happiness for' the hero' and heroine.
