The Weraroa Club held its annual meeting last evening, Mr J. O’Connor being in the chair. There was a fair attendance of members. Messrs. 3. Sadd, H. Boulton and H. Hudson were elected members of the club.

On Mr Cla.ridge’s motion it was decided to admit three boys from the State and Convent schools respectively to free membership. The season’s officers were elected as follows: President, Mr F. G. Roe (reelected); vice-presidents, Messrs. J. M. Milne, J. McFarlane, W. Thomson, W. N. Anderson, R. W. Percy, S. Hall, O. Hawke, .1. Young, J. D. Adams, and Rere Nicholson; secretary and treasurer, Mr C. Wells (re-elected); delegates to Association, Messrs. J. O’Connor and G. Thomas; committee, Messrs. W. Harding, J. Hall and E. Claridge; club captain, Mr O’Connor. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Messrs. F. G. Roe, 3. M. Milne, J. McFarlane and J. Young for donations to the club last year. The chairman brought up the question of two-day’and one-day matches, | and considered that, one-day fixtures I were the most suitable, because on I tire second <la.y of a two-day match a half-hours’ play might only be required to complete the match, and it would hardly be fair to ask a team I to travel for that. I It. was decided that the club deleI gates to the Association be given a I free hand, but recommended to supj port one-day matches, j The subscription was fixed at £1 1/, j and honorary members 5/.
