THE RUGBY UNION.

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—Being an eye-\vitness to most football matches, and seeinga lot ol play that, is charged for at profiteering rates, and after reading the report of our football Management Committee in your issue of yesterday, I would strongly advise tliC' Horowhenua. Union to-'join the Manawatu Union as quickly as possible, as their brain power will be a great acquisition to both Unions. More than likely the New Zealand Union would be 'pleased to hand over their business to these extroordinary business-like officials. If this Union dos not fancy the Manawatu fusion, I would certainly suggest they join in with the Porirua Institute—l. am, etc., SPECTATOR.
