A local dairyman stated yesterday that the factories dealing with homeseparated cream appeared to be'coming to the front, judging by the experience of at least one on this coast and the amount it was paying out. He did not know if this experience was general, hut if it was the question should be ■, fully . gone into. Certainly, the factory dealing only with separated cream was under less exi pense, the suppliers had less cartage and the full benefit of the skim milk for pigs and calves, and there did not appear to be any advantage in quality of the butter manufactures from factory-separated cream as compared with home-separated.
