CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE WELL

CONTESTED

The popular manner in which the Levin Poultry, Pigeon and Cage Bird Society’s show is being supported is a matter .for congratulation, and the Society can confidently look forward to a successful exhibition at the end of the month. The Society has been •awarded the North Island championships for Black Orpingtons, Golden Wyandottes and Magpie Pigeons. In the two former classes the leading breeders of the North Island are represented. with a splendid entry, and the competition promises to be very keen. In fact, the championship classes will make an exhibition in themselves. The champion pigeon class will also be a high grade one. As late entries are coming to hand every day, the Society has decided fo' extend the date of closing till Wednesday, when entries will definitely close.
