BENEFIT CONCERT.

A SUCCESSFUL AFFAIR

The benefit concert for Mr and Mrs Coakley, who suffered severe loss in the recent fire, took place on Tuesday evening, there being a fair crowd present. The programme was a good one and the local and visiting talent were at their best, all being repeatedly encored. Messrs. Parkhouse and Quarrie got the programme off nicely without a hitch. The stage looked very nice with a decoration of flowers and coloured paper. At the conclusion of the entertainment, Mr Quarrie thanked those who had assisted with the concert, and also the Shannon News for supplying publicity free of cost. The nett proceeds will amount to about £ls.
