HOSPITAL LEVIES.
TO BE STRUCK THIS YEAR
The following comparative statement of values and levies proposed to be struck by the Palmerston North Hospital Board for the year ending March 31, 1922, was laid on the table at Thursday’s meeting of\the Board:— COMPARATIVE STATEMENT OF ’ VALUES AND LEVIES.
Last year the County Council’s levy under the old valuation amounted to £1938 0/11. The borough valuation has altered only very slightly, and last, year the total paid to the Hospital Board amounted to £204 12/3. This included a portion of the special levy made on Horowhenua districts when they came within the Hospital Board district. The whole of the annual levy is £SOO, and a share of this will be added tins year to both the County Council and Borough Council's amounts.' 9
