* MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the management committee of the Horowhenua Rugby Union was held last night. In regard to the newly-formed T? Horo junior team, Mr Whibley moved that it be informed that Larsen ant Merino would be required to play in a senior grade team. To this an amendment was moved by Mr BeVan that any action in regard to these men he left over for three Cup matches. The amendment was carried. It was decided to inform ibis club that the white band round their jerseys would have to be Bin wide. On the motion of Mr Winiata, it was resolved that the conditions of play for the Bebbington Cup be os last year, and that the secretary inform the four unions and ask that challenges be in his hands at an early date.
Two rounds, it was decided, will be played in each grade, with Die exception of the fourth, which matter has not yePbeen gone into. The secretary was instructed to obtain a roll iof 2500 tickets from the Taxation Department, in connection with the amusement, tax on persons, paying for entrance to football matches. The Cup matches will commence on Saturday, April 29, and the fixtures are as follow: — SENIORS.' Hui-Mai v. Wanderers, at/Manakau Foxton v. Weraroa, at Foxton. Old Boys v. Shannon, at Otaki. Otaki a bye. JUNIORS (Southern). Kuku v. I-lui Mai, at Kuku. Old Boys v. Te Horo, at. Te I-loro. Paraparaumu v. Otaki, at Para. JUNIORS (Northern). Wanderers v. Tokomaru, at Toko. Shannon v. Weraroa, at Shannon. Rovers v. Foxton, at Levin.
