WEDDING BELLS
STEWART—ECCLESFIELD. The marriage was solemnised in the Presbyterian Church yesterday afternoon by the Rev. M. Bawden-Harris, of Maud Mary, youngest daughter of Mrs Stewart, of Arapaepae Road, to Mr Thomas A. Ecclesfleld, of Hokitika, eldest son of Mrs Wogan and the late Mr R. Ecclesfleld, of Christchurch. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr W. Stewart, was-attired in a wedding dress of white crepe-de-ehine and georgette, with veil and orange blossoms, and she carried a beautiful bouquet, the gift of Mrs Prouse, of Weraroa. The bride was attended by Miss Maggie Diamond, of Foxton, who wore a frock of turquoise blue charmeuse and hat of pale grey. The best man was Mr E. Cooper, of Christchurch. A reception was held later in the Druids’ Hall, where the usual toast? were honoured. The happy couple left for the south by car.
