WEDDING BELLS.
A pretty wedding took place at 19 o’clock on Tuesday morning at the . Ven. Bede’s Anglican Church, the contracting parties being Miss Thelma Hemmingsen, only- daughter of Mr P. Heminingsen, of Shannon, and Mr Andrew Graham, of Ireland. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful navy amt white gaberdine embroidered frock with hat and veil to match, and carried a lovely shower bouquet. Miss Florrie Whitlow, who acted as bridesljiaid, was attired in navy and white serge coat-frock with hat to match, and carried a shower bouquet. Mr Maurice Small acted as. best man. After the ceremony, which was conducted by the Rev. Abbott, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The home was tastefully decorated for the ■ occasion. The bride was the recipient of many handsome and valuable presents. The bouquets were made and presented by Mrs E. Richards. The happy couple left by car for Palmerston North to join the express for Rotorua, where they intend to spend their honeymoon.
